Governance Built on Research, Not Aspiration

The Center for Ethical AI is a research and advisory organization focused on the governance, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI systems. Our work addresses a persistent gap in the field: the distance between ethical principles and operational enforcement.

We develop proprietary frameworks grounded in empirical research — tested against real deployment data and aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and IEEE standards. Our outputs include peer-reviewed publications, governance audits, practitioner tools, and advisory engagements for executive leadership and technical teams.

Dale A. Rutherford, Ph.D.
Ethical AI Strategist | Editor-in-Chief, AI Governance Review

Dale Rutherford is an Ethical AI Strategist whose research focuses on the integration, deployment, and governance of agentic AI systems. His work bridges language model intelligence with automation frameworks and control architectures, applying standards-aligned governance to design transparent, auditable, and ethically governed intelligent systems.

As Editor-in-Chief of AI Governance Review, he oversees original research and applied frameworks designed for organizations deploying AI in high-stakes environments. His proprietary frameworks include:

  • MIDCOT — Multi-Dataset IQ Drift and Cost Optimization Training: SPC-driven governance of model drift

  • ALAGF — Adaptive Lifecycle Agentic Governance Framework for agentic AI oversight

  • BME Metric Suite — Behavioral Measurement of Entropy metrics including BAR, ECPI, IQD, PTDI, and AHRS

  • SymPrompt+ — Dynamic prompt modulation for bias mitigation and entropy control

His technical writing and framework development consistently align with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and IEEE standards. He is currently developing a technical book on Lean Six Sigma for Ethical LLM/AI Integration and advancing the Model Autophagy research program, a systems governance framework modeling epistemic decay in recursive LLM training ecosystems.
